IO IRH

Welcome to the Informations Operations Incident Response Handlers Course. This is an online course. The following is a list of your responsibilities for course registration before entering the web site:

a. You must have your unit submit a request to the Army Training Reservation Reporting System (ATRRS), school code 1030. When you show as "Reserved" in ATRRS, print out the IRH Information Sheet provided on the website and fax the filled in sheet to 802-485-1937.

b. When the registration form is received, we will then pass your name on to the instructor who will arrange for you to receive the needed information for the course. IMPORTANT – the registration form MUST reach the schoolhouse NLT 2 weeks prior to the class start date. If the form is received too late or not at all, you will not receive the log-on and password for the course.

If the above item is not completed according to these instructions prior to the course start date, you will not be admitted into the course and will be coded as a no show in ATRRS.

The Cyberprotect CD will be sent to you upon completing the registration process. This CD runs best on Windows 9x. It can be used on Windows NT and 2000 if you load the correct version of the QuickTime Player. Free downloads are available. You must also download the correct version of Macromedia Flash Player for your PC to run this courseware at  www.macromedia.com/downloads.  The course should run in Netscape 4.x and higher as well as Internet Explore 4.0 and higher. Do not download and install the Shockwave Player. You do not need this.

The course will require 32-40 hours of your time for successful completion. If at all possible you should schedule 4 -5 days to work on the course so that you have ample time to complete the course. There are discussion groups to be entered, 26+ assignments to complete, and 2 exams. The final exams will be given on three days prior to the end date and must be taken on this day. If necessary, a re-test will be given on the last day only. The final day is reserved for re-testers only, no substitutions. The instructor will notify you of your score.

Graduates will receive a DA Form 1059 and Certificate of Completion in the mail. A copy will also be mailed to the individual’s unit.

If you have any questions or concerns you may contact the school staff by visiting the contacts page.

Good Luck!
