The Call For
Fire Trainer (CFFT)
The Call for Fire Trainer (CFFT) is an observed fire-training system
that provides
simulated
battlefield environments for instructing Fire
Support Specialists, Joint Fires Observers (JFO),
and Soldiers at the institutional and unit
level. The CFFT is a 1:12 (1 Instructor, 12
Student) trainer that provides both
familiarization and sustainment training for
observed fire tasks to include Artillery, Type
II and III Close Air Support (CAS), Naval
Gunfire, and Mortar Missions.
