Janus Battle Staff Training Lab is a software based, PC-hosted, flexible, interactive, event-driven war gaming simulation used for training platoon and company-level commanders, as well as battalion and brigade staffs. In addition, Janus can be configured to provide support for Military Support of Civilian Authorities (MSCA) exercises in support of Homeland Security Initiatives.
Janus accurately models both friendly and enemy weapons systems with resolution down to the individual platform (vehicle or individual soldier weapons). Janus can replicate civilians on the battlefield and is a realistic trainer for the contemporary operational environment (COE).
Janus is an excellent tool to train first responders and Emergency Action Center Staffs. Janus can also be used for Course of Action Development as well as enhancing interoperability between civil and NGB assets for MSCA type exercises.
