Welcome to the home page of the “Witchdoctors”. Co. C 3-126th AV is the Vermont Army National Guard’s Air Ambulance unit located at the new Army Aviation Support Facility on the grounds of the Burlington International Airport.

Our job is to perform Medical Evacuation, which is the timely, efficient movement and en route care by medical personnel of the wounded, injured and ill from the battlefield and other locations to medical treatment facilities.

We accomplish this mission effectively by flying our patients to higher levels of medical care in Blackhawk Helicopters. In fact, we are the first unit in the United States Army to be issued the highly advanced HH-60M Blackhawk Helicopter.

Our State mission is to provide aviation mission support such as Medical Evacuation, search and rescue, and Command and Control assets when ordered by the Governor of Vermont.
