MILITARY DISCOUNTS

Below is a listing of military discounts. Please contact each business to get updates on their discount plans.

Vermont Businesses:

Able Paint, Glass and Flooring, 683 Pine St, Burlington.  10% discount on all items with the exception of labor and sale items.

Alex's Restaurant, Home of the Vermont Soup Company on Williston rd. South Burlington offers a 20% discount.

Annie's Unfinished Furniture, Stowe,  20% discount for military members - show ID.

Arthur's, Morrisville - 10% discount

Auto Zone, Essex, 10% Discount on in-stock items.

Bolton Valley Resort, 50% off current retail prices for season passes- This offer applies only to Alpine & Nordic Adult, Family & Combo passes.  This Military season pass discount is available to those active/reserve personnel of the Armed Forces of the United States of America and their dependents.  A valid Military ID will be required upon the issuance of the season pass.

Cedar Glen Property Maintenance is offering a 30% discount to members of the Vermont Guard. They operate 3 companies....and the discount applies to each. Those companies are Cedar Glen (landscaping, etc), TURF Control, and Snow Control. If you are interested (or are a current customer), please call Matthew Andrews, the Chief Financial Manager, at 863-7800.

Chantilly Rose Florist - offers a 10% discount for military members and their families. They offer 20% discount for deployed soldiers and their families. We are also willing to setup an account for deployed soldiers so they can email us flower orders for loved ones while overseas.

Christopher & Banks/C.J. Banks - 10% off regular price purchases with your military ID.

Johnson Farm and Garden, Johnson - 15% discount

Mad River Glen, Free Season Passes for deployed military personnel in the Vermont National Guard, Active Duty, deployed military personnel from Vermont Military and Active Duty, military personnel from Vermont who are on leave or who have returned from deployment.  Qualifying service members will also receive free passes for their spouse and any dependant children.  You must show a copy of your deployment orders and ID card at the ticket booth.  Call 802-496-3551 if you have any questions.  

Main Street Barbers, 72 Main St. Burlington, 802-863-5100, Haircuts $2 off the regular price of $14

Mexicali Authentic Mexican Grill, 299 Williston Rd, Williston.  Offers 10% off eat in or take out with valid military ID.

Mills & Greer - 10% off Hockey Sticks & Skates and 20% off any other regular priced items in the store.

Moe's Southwest Grill, So. Burlington - 10% off with military id.  50% if in uniform.

Mount Snow (Haystack) - Mount Snow is pleased to extend a $10 discount on full-price lift tickets, (single or multi-day) any day of the year (no blackouts) with a valid military ID. Military personnel can ski/ride at Haystack for $35 a day (no blackouts) with a valid military ID.

Olympia Sports - Save 10-20% with your military ID.

Purple Knight Pizza (near St Mike's) extends a 10% discount to all military personnel.

Route 14 Style, Williamstown - $5 Haircuts – Just let them know you are or have served in the military to receive the discount.

Spencer's (University & Burlington Square Mall) - 10% discount

Supercuts of South Burlington, 570 Shelburne Rd, So. Burlington.  $2 off haircuts to  military personnel when you show your ID.

Taco Bell in the University Mall, South Burlington VT and the Taco Bell, Champlain Centre North, Plattsburgh NY is offering a 10% discount to anyone that shows a military ID when placing an order. This is good for service members and dependants. 

The Hair Appeal in Essex Jct is offering 20% off haircuts to military personnel when they show their ID.

Vanslette Computer Consulting - 802-524-1772 Free internet access for deployed service members' families.  Open from 10am - 7pm, M-F.  Plus 10% off purchase of new equipment or repair to existing equipment.  Show valid Military ID.

Vermont, State of - Pay earned in a combat zone is treated the same as the IRS and therefore excluded when it comes to figuring out who is eligible for the Weatherization Program ran by the State of Vermont. Our program works with lower incomed folks to make their homes more energy efficient. It is a free program provided through five community action programs in Vermont. We save most homeowners around 50% of their energy bills. 

Vermont Memories, This Father & Daughter team offer wedding & event photography and videography to Guard members at a 15% discount. This is for all packages for all Sunday- Friday weddings (non Saturday).

Vermont Technical College will give a 25% reduction in their tuition rate for any member of the Vermont National Guard attending classes on a full-time basis. This reduction may be used simultaneously with any other financial assistance, such as the VSAC National Guard Educational Assistance Scholarship, or federal tuition assistance.
