MEMORANDUM FOR: Incident Response Handlers Course Attendees

Subject: Online Welcome Letter

Welcome to the Informations Operations Incident Response Handlers Course. This is an instructor-led web-based course.

The course is conducted over a period of five calendar days.  Your focused effort to work with your instructor over these five days is the key to success in the course.

The following is a list of your responsibilities for course registration before entering the web site:

a. You must have your unit submit a request to the Army Training Reservation Reporting System (ATRRS), school code 1030.

b. Once the reservation is made, please email Course Administrator with your physical mailing address so that we can send you the "CyberProtect" CD based simulation which is the practical exercise for IRH Lesson 03 "Introduction to Host Security".  The CD requires the most recent version of Apple Quicktime viewer (it is recommended that you uncheck all of the "free" stuff).  It is available here.

If the above item is not completed according to these instructions prior to the course start date, you will not be admitted into the course and will be coded as a no show in ATRRS.

Graduates will receive a DA Form 1059 and Certificate of Completion in the mail. A copy will also be mailed to the individual’s unit.
