The M2 Cal .50 Individual Gunnery Trainer (M2 IGT) is a compact, fully deployable trainer designed to teach, train, and sustain fundamental gunnery skills for the Cal .50 gunner. The M2 IGT trains the critical acquisition, identification, and engagement skills. The M2 IGT trains using voice recognition technology allowing the gunner to interact with a synthetic “Vehicle Commander” to engage moving and stationary targets in a realistic battlefield environment during day and night visibility conditions.  The M2 IGT scores and evaluates each target engagement and provides the gunner with a detailed summary of their performance. Multiple M2 IGT systems can be networked to a central server computer to collect all performance data for tracking and monitoring of all training performance results.
